THE SANDHILLS CAPE FEAR SONGWRITERS GUILD SHOWCASE

5 pm to 8 pm

Featuring a half dozen or so fine singer/songwriters from the Cumberland, Hoke and Moore County area, come out and enjoy an evening of original acoustic music! There is no cover charge, however we do hope that you'll support the Fig Cafe as you're supporting your local artists.

     Each artist with their unique genre delivers a short set, 5 or 6 songs for a tasty selection of music. February 28th's lineup includes Kenny Huffman, Jeremy Gilchrist, Steve and Rebecca Lapping, Rae Anne Kinney, Matt Carriker, Kerstin Hanson, and Dennis McCracken, not necessarily in that order.

     The Fig Cafe delivers a wonderful atmosphere in the loft area where you'll find a beautiful full service bar with a great wine selection as well as Hookah Lounge. You can also find a delectable coffees and Mediterranean Style men

It will be an afternoon of and evening of music, you will be talking about for a long time.  We can't wait to see you there!

Hi, and welcome to our site.  Since you have landed here you are probably looking for a great place to visit for coffee or drinks, grab a quick tasty meal or treat and meet with friends or business associates.  We suggest you come to our hookah lounge.

We have created an atmosphere that makes it comfortable to do it all.  The decor we have developed for our cafe that truly stands out from the traditional.  We decided on a split level look with comfortable chairs and stools, artwork and a 10 foot tv screen inside, and a functional patio area outside.  We serve sandwiches and coffee downstairs and adult beverages and flavored pipes  are available on the second floor.

This concept was accepted after seeing it in larger cities like L.A., Dallas and Miami.  It's an excellent change from the ordinary, and one you must experience to appreciate.

From Panini sandwiches to soups in bread bowls (go ahead, eat the bowl, it's delicious), tasty desserts and exotic coffees you'll enjoy a welcome break from your usual routine.
